Town Imdy

A Glance at Town Imdy

Imdy was founded in 1946 by a community of immigrants that was first established as a housing community for workers and their families during the construction of the nearby Snoqualmie River Dam on the Snoqualmie river, which eventually grew to be an agricultural community. In the past two years, there has been a recent shift towards converting Imdy to a mining community due to the recent discovery of coal and mineral caches in the town and establishment of the Mining Establishment Corps on the outskirts of town. Imdy continues to pride itself on its many attractions, some of which include the extravagant kale farms, beautiful mineral and stone shops, and the immersive hiking trails accessible by the Snoqualmie river.
